Moody Birds

The Moody Bird series is painted in acrylic on canvas.  This series was inspired after a hiatus of not painting for almost a decade. I had the opportunity to paint a 4ft Easter egg for an art display, and it was a process that re-invigorated my love for painting and affirmed that art was something I needed to keep present in my life in a more meaningful way.   These birds (which were part of the Easter art display), represent a part of me that I rediscovered and a reflection of the "moods" that led me through this creative journey.
